About us

I was born in 1984, have two brother and I live in North-Holland. About age of ten, we moved and I went on riding, it was the beginning of my love for horses. It soon became I fall in love of pony, Thijs. After a couple of months my parents baught Thijs. A very sweet, quiet, well behaved pony, with a golden heart. Soon I was riding dressage and over the years we came to the M1. Because he is a trotter, he had trouble with the gallop. This resulted, as I rose higher, more and more problems. Eventually we decided to Thijs to rest and to look for a real dressage pony. Soon we found a good place for Thijs.

This cleared the way for a new pony, Lucky. And what a pony! A great body and excellent movements. We soon found out that it is a pony with a lot of stress and problems. We had to start in the Class M1, because he had started with his previous owner in ZZ. I could write a book about him, what we have lived through with him. That was not always easy. Fortunately we have also great moments with him, as fourth in the Dutch Championship in the first class M1 and many beautiful prizes. It was not all gold that glittered, from disease to terrible events and terrible results. We try everything to calm him down and investigated why he was so difficult, like a another saddle, physiotherapist, change trainer, homeopathic remedies, change box, change bit, change food. And so I could go on…

Lucky is now sold a couple of times. And Thijs? Which is now on the opposite side of the country and fully enjoy his old age! Recently we have visited Thijs and he have great home!

Together with my partner Kees, I develop the website. In 2008 we started with the Dutch version and it quickly proved a great success! Meanwhile, the Dutch version had over 13,000 member and was therefore high time to develop the website in English, so that all children around the world could enjoy of the website.
